Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Entry Authorization with Active Clearance in Palm Bay, FL to support aerospace/defense locations. You will manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors.

This full-time position requires an active DoD Secret clearance, 21+ years of age, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to work day-night shifts.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel and visitors at an aerospace/defense location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures and procedures.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and control entry to restricted areas.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms and critical situations in a calm, structured manner, escalating as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of assigned access points, facilities and perimeter areas to identify unauthorized activity or irregular conditions.
• Maintain accurate reports and documentation of access activity and shift observations.

As a Security Officer Entry Authorization with Active Clearance in Palm Bay, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Access Control Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, monitor access activity, and communicate professionally with employees and visitors. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and report security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense location by carrying out site-specific access control procedures, policies, and emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and authorization, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and control entry to restricted areas in accordance with established procedures.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns through appropriate channels.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of assigned access points, facilities, and perimeter areas to help identify unauthorized activity or irregular conditions.
• Maintain accurate reports and documentation of access activity, incidents, and shift observations while communicating professionally with site personnel and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an active DoD Secret clearance.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
