Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Armed with an active DoD Secret clearance for our aerospace/defense location in Riviera Beach, FL. You will patrol, monitor access points, respond to incidents, and maintain professional service while upholding site policies.

The role requires at least two years of corrections, law enforcement, or military experience, an armed guard card, and a high school diploma. A background check and drug screen are required.

Qualifications

• Armed guard card or license.
• Active DoD Secret clearance.
• DD214 with honorable discharge, associate degree or 60 college credits, police or corrections academy certificate.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• Criminal histories considered per applicable laws.
• Drug screen as allowed by law.
• Industry-specific security training participation.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws; may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and contractors at an aerospace and defense billing operations location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access points and verify visitor, contractor, and delivery credentials in accordance with site requirements; maintain accurate visitor and access-related records.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, parking areas, entry points, and the business perimeter to identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Prepare clear, timely activity and incident reports and communicate observations to Allied Universal leadership and designated site personnel.

What You’ll Do

Minimum Requirements

• Have at least two years of correcrtions, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Maintain an active Department of Defense Secret clearance.
• Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree or 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry‑specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
