Job summary

As a Security Officer Armed Security Clearance Patrol in Riviera Beach, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $24.69 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Tue 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Wed 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Thur 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM
• Sun 03:00 PM - 11:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or vendors at an aerospace and defense billing operations location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, access protocols, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials and visitor authorizations, and maintain accurate visitor and incident documentation in accordance with site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned business areas, entry points, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Observe and report unusual conditions, access-control issues, and potential policy violations while maintaining a professional presence in a controlled aerospace and defense environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least two years of corrections, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Maintain an active DoD Secret Clearance.
• Provide a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• A Guard Card or License is required.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
