Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Government Building Access Control professional in Irvine, CA. You will serve clients across industries as an Unarmed Patrol Officer, patrolling and maintaining visible presence to deter incidents while delivering exceptional customer service and adhering to site policies.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of law enforcement, military police, or corrections experience.
• 2+ years of security-related experience.
• Guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law and drug screen.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• A valid driver’s license is required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the business and perimeter, including interior and exterior areas as assigned.
• Observe and report suspicious activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and other security-related activities in accordance with site procedures.
