As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help maintain a secure environment for personnel, visitors, and operations. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, drivers, visitors, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the distribution location, including building exteriors, parking areas, trailer yards, loading docks, entry points, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access activity for employees, visitors, vendors, and delivery drivers; verify credentials and maintain required logs and documentation.
• Report suspicious activity, damaged property, unsecured doors or gates, and other security-related concerns to site leadership and Allied Universal supervision.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in the state where the job is located.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
