Job summary

Allied Universal in Torrance, CA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Warehouse Access to serve tenants in a tech-focused location. You will patrol, monitor access, respond to incidents, and provide excellent customer service.

This on-site role requires being 18+ (21+ for armed), a high school diploma, background check and drug screen, and a valid driver's license where applicable. We offer training, growth, retirement, and health benefits.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of interior spaces, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter access points to help identify unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site procedures, maintaining awareness of authorized entry and reporting access concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established post orders and escalation protocols.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and activity logs documenting patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related concerns.

As a Security Officer Full Time Warehouse Accessin Torrance, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service. You will communicate professionally with employees and visitors, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
