Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, vendors, and drivers by enforcing access-control procedures.

• Respond calmly to incidents and communicate with site contacts and leadership.
• Conduct patrols of access points, loading areas, and perimeters as required by client site.
• Document observations and access-control activity clearly during shift changes.

As an Access Control Officer at an industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor access activity to support a secure environment. You will provide professional customer service, communicate clearly with employees and visitors, and use computer or tablet systems to document activity. Job Schedule:

• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, vendors, and drivers by carrying out access-control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an industrial location.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access credentials, maintain visitor and contractor logs, and direct deliveries in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and Allied Universal leadership as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of access points, loading areas, building exteriors, and the perimeter; working environments and conditions may vary by client site.
• Document observations, incidents, and access-control activity accurately and communicate relevant information during shift transitions.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control/badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
