• Respond calmly to incidents, alarms, and emergencies; coordinate with site contacts and responders.
• Conduct regular patrols around access points, business areas, and perimeter.

As an Access Control Security Officer in an industrial location, you will help manage entry points, verify credentials, issue badges, and monitor access activity to support a secure environment. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and use technology to document security-related information. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.10 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Sun 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, employees, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Monitor and control access to the industrial location by verifying identification, processing visitor and contractor entry, and maintaining accurate access records.
• Observe incoming and outgoing vehicle, trailer, and pedestrian activity at access points, following site procedures for deliveries, shipments, and restricted areas.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around access points, business areas, and the perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity; working environments and conditions may vary by location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
