Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Identity Validation in Santa Monica, CA. You will greet visitors, control access, verify credentials, and maintain logs at a premier commercial real estate location.

You will monitor lobby activity, respond to incidents, and provide exceptional customer service while protecting people and property. This role requires compliance with site procedures and safety protocols.

Qualifications

• Experience using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Experience with access control and badge systems is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide a welcoming front-desk presence for tenants, visitors, vendors, and building personnel at a commercial real estate location.
• Carry out site-specific security procedures, visitor management, access-control processes, and customer service expectations.
• Monitor lobby activity, verify visitor credentials, issue passes, and maintain required logs.
• Respond to incidents and requests for assistance in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify building personnel and responders as needed.
• Observe and report unusual activity or maintenance issues to the appropriate personnel.

As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Identity Validation in Santa Monica, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome visitors, manage access control and badges, monitor entry activity, and provide outstanding customer service. You will use computer or tablet systems to support daily operations, communicate professionally with tenants and guests, and help create a welcoming, security-focused environment. What You'll Do

• Provide a professional, welcoming front-desk presence for tenants, visitors, vendors, and building personnel at a commercial real estate location.
• Carry out site-specific security-related procedures, visitor management protocols, access-control processes, and customer service expectations.
• Monitor lobby activity, receive and route calls, verify visitor credentials, issue visitor passes as authorized, and maintain required logs and records.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate building personnel and/or emergency responders according to site procedures.
• Observe and report unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and security-related issues within the front-desk area to the appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
