Allied Universal in New Orleans, LA is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Credentialing to protect clients and visitors across retail locations. You will verify badges, manage access points, and respond to security concerns as part of a collaborative team dedicated to safety and service.

The role emphasizes customer service, awareness, and adherence to site procedures, with a schedule that includes evening shifts and rotating days.

Qualifications

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, and maintain visitor, contractor, and delivery records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and documenting relevant details.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the retail location, including entrances, receiving areas, parking areas, and perimeter, to help identify security-related concerns.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly retail environment by observing access-control activity and reporting unusual or prohibited activity to site leadership and/or law enforcement as directed.
