Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Visitor Access Coordinator in San Francisco, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Front Desk Security Professional at a commercial real estate location, you will welcome tenants and visitors, manage access procedures, monitor alarms and security-related activity, and provide clear, professional communication. Your visible presence will help to deter incidents while delivering outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $24.90 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and building staff at a commercial real estate front desk by carrying out site-specific procedures and security-related policies.
• Greet visitors, manage guest sign-in processes, verify access authorization, issue visitor credentials, and direct individuals to appropriate building areas.
• Monitor lobby activity, access points, cameras, alarms, and other security-related systems, reporting unusual activity or access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Maintain accurate front desk records, including visitor logs, incident documentation, deliveries, and communications with building management and/or emergency responders.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.
• Alarm panel experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
