Allied Universal in San Francisco is seeking a Part-Time Front Desk Security Officer to welcome visitors, control access, and deliver exceptional customer service in a busy commercial environment.

You will monitor lobby activity, answer calls, and maintain visitor records while supporting site operations. Position includes Sat and Sun 9:00 AM–5:30 PM with a pay rate of $26.40 per hour and requires 1+ year of security experience and a high school diploma.

Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $26.40 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Sat: 09:00 AM - 05:30 PM
• Sun: 09:00 AM - 05:30 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor access to the commercial property lobby, greet and direct visitors, verify authorization, and maintain visitor records in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly communicating relevant information to appropriate personnel.
• Operate front desk communication systems, answer incoming calls, and provide general information and assistance to building occupants and guests.
• Monitor lobby activity and report unusual conditions, access concerns, and maintenance-related issues to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
