Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check will be conducted as per federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Inspector in Philadelphia, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Logistics & Distribution, and more. As a Security Officer supporting a logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. This primarily driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will provide exceptional customer service and clear communication while contributing to a caring, reliable team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, loading areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, verify authorized entry as directed by site policies, and report irregular conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Complete required activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications accurately and in a timely manner.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 2 years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
