Allied Universal is seeking an unarmed Security Officer in Southfield, MI. You will perform patrols, monitor entrances, and provide excellent customer service to tenants, visitors, and staff while enforcing site policies and responding to incidents.

The role requires a valid driver’s license, a high school diploma or equivalent, and the ability to pass background checks and drug screening. This is a full-time position with a consistent night schedule.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for tenants and visitors. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. Pay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

• Tue: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Thur: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients at a commercial real estate location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of building interiors, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity, hazards, and maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with access control procedures, and report unauthorized entry attempts or suspicious conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to site management and Allied Universal leadership.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
