As a Security Officer Unarmed Driver Site Patrol in Redford, MI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Auto, and more. Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Tue: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at an automotive manufacturing and logistics location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of manufacturing areas, parking lots, shipping and receiving zones, office spaces, and the facility perimeter to help identify unusual activity, unauthorized access, and property concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify credentials for personnel, visitors, and contractors in accordance with site-specific access-control procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and notifying appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Assist with traffic flow, vehicle entry procedures, and protection of restricted areas while maintaining professional communication with site personnel and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
