• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations calmly and professionally.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and coordination with site management and emergency responders as needed.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail property, including common areas, entrances, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, policy violations, hazards, and access concerns, and report observations through established procedures.
• Respond to incidents, requests for assistance, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Assist with access control, visitor direction, and coordination with site management and/or emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
