Qualifications

As a Security Officer Full Time Retail in Sherman Oaks, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service. What You'll Do:

• Provide exceptional customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and/or staff while carrying out site‑specific security‑related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail center, including common areas, parking areas, exterior entrances, and perimeter locations, to help identify and report unusual activity or maintenance concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner, following established emergency response procedures when appropriate.
• Monitor access points, observe activity within assigned areas, and report policy violations, hazards, or suspicious circumstances to site leadership and/or appropriate personnel.
• Complete accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and other required documentation in accordance with Allied Universal and site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card/license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
