Allied Universal seeks a Security Officer for Full Time Unarmed Retail Vehicle Patrol in Sherman Oaks, CA. You will provide security and customer service, patrol storefronts, parking areas, and perimeter, and respond to incidents while maintaining a welcoming environment.

Candidate must have a valid driver’s license, be at least 18, and pass background checks and drug screening. The position offers full-time hours with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour and shifts including evenings and weekends.

Qualifications

• Provide customer service to shoppers, tenants, visitors, and employees by following security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout retail areas to deter unauthorized activity and identify concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and emergencies in a calm, professional manner; notify authorities as needed.
• Monitor access points and report hazards or policy violations per site procedures.
• Complete accurate activity reports and logs while maintaining professional presence.

Job Description
As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Retail Vehicle Patrol in Sherman Oaks, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an unarmed Patrol Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and represent Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, and people-first values with integrity and teamwork.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
