Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Customer Support in Irvine, CA to serve tenants, visitors, and staff. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to incidents with professional communication consistent with Allied Universal’s values.

The role requires at least one year of security experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Customer Support in Irvine, CA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail and mall location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for visitors, tenants, and staff. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Deliver exceptional customer service, clear communication, and professional response while embodying Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, caring, and integrity-driven values.

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and shoppers by carrying out security-related procedures, location-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail common areas, parking areas, entrances, and the property perimeter to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location, reporting maintenance concerns, hazards, and suspicious behavior according to established procedures.
• Complete accurate reports and maintain communication with site management, law enforcement, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
