Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Guard card or license preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• Must be at least 18 for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• As a condition of employment, a background check will be conducted as required by law.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories where permitted by law.
• As a condition of employment, a drug screen may be required where allowed by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply per state/local laws.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $13.24 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM


• Tue: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM


• Wed: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM


• Thur: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM


• Fri: 10:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities in a healthcare setting.


• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the facility, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.


• Monitor access points and assist with visitor screening, directions, and access-control procedures in accordance with healthcare location requirements.


• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and report security-related concerns to site leadership and/or Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• A guard card or license is preferred.


• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
