Allied Universal in Richardson, TX is seeking a Security Officer Patrol Tablet Operations to monitor and protect patients, staff, and visitors at a healthcare location. You will maintain a visible presence, deter incidents, and support access control while delivering outstanding customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and vendors by following security procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents and emergencies in a calm, professional manner per site protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, reporting suspicious conditions to site personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain communication with site contacts and leadership.

Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $19.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, medical emergencies, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and contacting appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout healthcare facilities, parking areas, entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify unusual activity and support a welcoming environment.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with site-specific procedures, reporting suspicious conditions, hazards, and/or policy concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and maintain clear communication with site contacts, Allied Universal leadership, and emergency responders as needed.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
