Job summary

Allied Universal in Charlotte, NC is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Route Driver to protect client property across Retail/Malls and Commercial Real Estate. You will monitor and patrol, provide customer service, and maintain a visible security presence.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, shoppers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the commercial property, including building interiors, entrances, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor for unusual activity, access concerns, property conditions, and policy violations, and report observations through required channels.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services as needed.
• Assist with access control, visitor directions, and tenant service requests while helping to deter unauthorized activity.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Route Driver in Charlotte, NC, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, Commercial Real Estate, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will monitor and patrol a commercial real estate and retail location, maintaining a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents. You will provide outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with tenants, visitors, and staff, and support a welcoming environment. Pay Rate: $17.85 / Hour

• Mon 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Tue 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Wed 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sun 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
