Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Incident Awareness in Miami, FL. You will serve clients across industries, conduct patrols, deter unauthorized activity, and assist visitors and staff with professionalism.

The role demands strong customer service, clear observation, and timely reporting, with a focus on safety and community trust in a fast-paced retail environment. This is a full-time position with scheduled afternoon shifts.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, retailers, visitors, and clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols throughout retail areas, storefronts, parking facilities, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe activity, and report unusual conditions, maintenance concerns, and security-related incidents according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, contacting appropriate personnel and emergency services when needed.
• Maintain detailed activity logs and incident reports, and communicate professionally with management, tenants, visitors, and law enforcement personnel.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer in a premier retail and mall setting, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors, tenants, and staff with professionalism. You will communicate observations, respond to security-related concerns, and support a welcoming environment through teamwork, integrity, and exceptional customer service. • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
