Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Assessment in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer in a premier retail and mall setting, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security‑related incidents, and support a welcoming experience for visitors, tenants, and staff. You will deliver exceptional customer service, communicate professionally, and respond to concerns with integrity. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $18.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Tue: 03:00 PM - 11:30 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Sat: 07:00 AM - 03:30 PM
• Sun: 11:30 AM - 08:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to visitors, tenants, retailers, and employees by carrying out security‑related procedures, site‑specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, guest concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem‑solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail district, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security‑related concerns.
• Monitor access points, observe pedestrian and vehicle activity, and assist with directing visitors in accordance with site procedures.
• Maintain a professional presence while supporting a welcoming retail environment and communicating clearly with Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
