Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Tablet Reporting in Jacksonville, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, respond to concerns, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $16.73 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Tue 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel at a technology-focused corporate location by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior spaces, exterior areas, parking facilities, entry points, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity in accordance with established procedures, helping to maintain an orderly environment for personnel and authorized guests.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following emergency response protocols and promptly reporting observations to appropriate personnel.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related concerns accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
