Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Surveillance in Richmond, VA. You will provide customer service, conduct patrols, monitor access, and respond to incidents at a technology-focused location.

Qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen.

• Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of buildings, parking areas, entry points, loading areas, and perimeter locations to deter unauthorized access.
• Verify credentials at access points and escort authorized personnel as needed.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, solution-focused manner and document observations.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Surveillance in Richmond, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer supporting a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location. Monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. Pay Rate: $19.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A Guard Card or license is preferred.


• CPR/First Aid certification is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
