Job summary

Allied Universal, North America's leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time, Unarmed) in Pearland, TX. You will patrol the retail center, deter incidents, assist visitors, and deliver excellent customer service while driving on-site as required.

The role requires a valid driver's license, HS diploma, and a background check. Candidates should be at least 18 for unarmed roles (21+ if armed) and must pass a drug screen; licensing rules vary by state.

Qualifications

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, shoppers, visitors, and/or staff by carrying out site-specific procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout the retail center, including common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations, reporting unusual conditions and security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Monitor access points and observe activity throughout the location to help deter unauthorized activity, trespassing, theft-related concerns, and/or property damage.
• Document patrols, incidents, and security-related observations in accordance with Allied Universal and site procedures.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Inspection in Pearland, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Security Officer at a retail and mall location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, assist visitors, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. Position Type: Full Time

Pay Rate: $14.50 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Thur: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri: 10:00 AM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 10:00 AM - 08:00 PM
• Sun: 10:00 AM - 08:00 PM

What You'll Do:
