Allied Universal in Atlanta, GA is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol Site Integrity) to safeguard clients across logistics sites. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence, and deliver courteous service to employees, visitors, and drivers while enforcing site policies.

The role requires at least 18 years old, a high school diploma, and the ability to pass background checks and a drug screen.

Qualifications

• Be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ years for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, drivers, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of distribution areas, loading docks, parking areas, entry points, and the facility perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials as directed, and maintain accurate logs of visitor, vehicle, and incident activity.
• Report observed hazards, damaged property, suspicious activity, and policy violations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
