Qualifications

• 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background investigation required by law.
• Background history considered per applicable laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may apply.
• Valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the location including interior and exterior areas.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; report suspicious activity or policy concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations calmly and following site protocols.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations to appropriate personnel.

What You’ll Do

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the financial institution location, including interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious activity or policy concerns, and help to deter unauthorized access.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site-specific protocols.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations, incidents, and security-related concerns to appropriate personnel.

Minimum Requirements

• Possess 3+ years of combined law enforcement, military, and/or security-related experience, or a college degree.
• Be at least 21 years of age
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
