Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, tenants, and visitors while enforcing site policies and safety procedures.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols across retail areas, parking lots, and perimeters to deter incidents.
• Respond calmly to incidents and concerns, escalating per site procedures when needed.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity or policy violations to leadership.
• Prepare clear incident and daily activity reports for site leadership.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic retail location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and assist visitors and team members with exceptional customer service. You will communicate clearly, document observations using computer or tablet tools, and support a welcoming environment. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $18.54 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 05:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, tenants, and visitors while carrying out site-specific policies, procedures, and appropriate emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail and mall common areas, storefronts, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Monitor access points and observe activity within assigned areas, reporting suspicious behavior, hazards, property concerns, and policy violations to appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate incident and daily activity reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site representatives.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
