Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Part Time Unarmed Security Officer for a Dallas, TX location. You will patrol, deter incidents, and maintain a secure environment while delivering excellent customer service to employees and visitors.

The role emphasizes flexible scheduling, site-specific procedures, and a culture of integrity and teamwork within Allied Universal.

Qualifications

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent (education requirement).
• Background investigation will be conducted as required by law.
• Drug screen to be conducted where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required by state/local laws.
• Must be at least 18 years old for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures and policies at a logistics and distribution location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access-control concerns, and emergency situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established response protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, vehicle yards, docks, warehouse spaces, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.
• Monitor access points and support authorized entry and exit procedures for employees, visitors, contractors, and transport personnel.
• Document observations, incidents, and patrol activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 6 months of security-related experience.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
