Job Description

As a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol Driver Experience in Dallas, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and associates. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. Deliver exceptional service through clear communication, teamwork, integrity, and Allied Universal’s agile, reliable, innovative, people-first culture.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, parking areas, and perimeter locations, to help to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity for potential security-related concerns, reporting unusual conditions to site management and/or appropriate personnel.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities in accordance with site procedures and Allied Universal reporting requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Loss prevention experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
