Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Hazard Awareness in Seattle, WA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and deliver exceptional customer service. You will communicate clearly with visitors and team members while supporting a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and delivery personnel at a technology-focused location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office spaces, common areas, parking areas, loading zones, and the business perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points, visitor activity, and credential compliance in accordance with site policies; report irregularities and assist with access-related inquiries.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate with site contacts, emergency responders, and Allied Universal leadership as appropriate.
• Document patrols, incidents, observations, and security-related activities accurately and promptly in required reports and systems.

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
