Allied Universal in Seattle, WA is seeking a Security Officer Unarmed Patrol to serve students, staff and visitors across university facilities. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain visibility, respond to incidents, and support a welcoming environment while upholding our values of agility, reliability, caring and integrity.

This full time role offers pay at $24.40 per hour, day and night shifts, and benefits including health insurance and paid time off.

Formación

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• A background investigation will be conducted in accordance with federal, state, and local laws.
• A drug screen will be required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations; may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide outstanding customer service to students, staff, and visitors. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, faculty, staff, visitors, and research personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of educational and research facilities, common areas, parking areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and restricted areas; verify authorized access in accordance with site procedures; and report unusual conditions or maintenance concerns.
• Document incidents, observations, and daily activities accurately, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
