Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Milpitas, CA. You will perform routine security patrols, maintain a visible presence, and respond to incidents while delivering strong customer service at a tech/telecom site.

The role requires a minimum of security experience, ability to use a computer or tablet, and a valid Guard Card or license where required. Earn $25.00 per hour with day-time scheduling options and benefits.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, access concerns, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, offices, parking areas, loading zones, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed, and report unusual conditions or policy violations to site leadership and/or Allied Universal supervision.
• Complete accurate patrol, incident, and shift activity reports in accordance with site-specific requirements.

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess at least 1 year of security-related experience.

• Hold CPR certification, preferred.
• Possess a Guard Card or license, preferred.
• Have customer service experience, preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
