Job summary

Allied Universal in Honolulu, HI seeks an Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Support. You will monitor assigned areas, deter security issues, and provide exceptional customer service while representing Allied Universal’s values.

This day-night driving role requires a valid driver’s license, basic computer use, and a high school diploma or equivalent. Eligible candidates will work a rotating overnight schedule and receive competitive hourly pay with benefits.

Qualifications

• Minimum requirements include: valid driver’s license per AU policy.
• State, county, or city security license preferred.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Must be 18+ for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Background check required by law; will consider qualified applicants with criminal histories.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements depend on state/local laws.

Responsibilities

• Respond to incidents and tenant concerns calmly and escalates as needed.
• Conduct regular patrols of buildings, parking areas, and entrances and report unusual conditions.

• Prepare incident reports and shift documentation and communicate with leadership.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver Support in Honolulu, HI, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Commercial Real Estate, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a commercial real estate location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide outstanding customer service and communication. What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, vendors, and/or clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a commercial real estate location.
• Respond to incidents, tenant concerns, access issues, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating matters according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of building interiors, exterior areas, parking facilities, entrances, common areas, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorized entry as directed by site procedures, and report unauthorized access or suspicious activity.
• Prepare clear and accurate incident reports, patrol logs, and shift documentation, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A state, county, or city-issued security-related license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
