Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Driver Patrol Field Observation in Orlando, FL. You will serve at a financial institution, conduct patrols, and maintain a visible presence to deter incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

We require a valid driver’s license and at least one year of security experience. The role is a full-time driving post with a schedule that includes night shifts and weekends, offering exceptions for licensing and background checks as per policy.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors while carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and emergency response activities at a financial institution location.
• Monitor access points, verify visitor credentials, and maintain accurate visitor and/or contractor logs in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities as required.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of interior areas, exterior grounds, parking areas, and the business perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports for incidents, observations, and daily activities, and communicate relevant information to site leadership and Allied Universal management.
