Job summary

Allied Universal in Houston, TX is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Patrol Operations to monitor and safeguard clients across logistics and distribution sites. You will patrol, deter incidents, and deliver excellent customer service.

The role requires being at least 18, HS diploma, background check and drug screen; a valid driver's license for driving jobs; licensing as required by state law; typical shifts include Day and Weekend hours.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients at a logistics and distribution location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, access concerns, package or vehicle-related issues, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of loading areas, vehicle lots, docks, trailer yards, building entrances, and the surrounding perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized personnel, visitors, and delivery drivers in accordance with site-specific procedures.
• Document observations, incidents, and irregular conditions, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

As an Unarmed Patrol Officer with Allied Universal at a logistics and distribution location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees, visitors, and deliveries. What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
