Allied Universal in Houston, TX is hiring a Part-Time Security Officer Armed Patrol Driver Deterrence to protect customers and assets at a retail site. You will perform regular armed patrols, de-escalate incidents, and maintain a visible, professional presence while delivering excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store personnel, customers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and the surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor for unusual activity, potential theft, and policy violations, and document observations and incidents accurately.
• Carry and maintain authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, training, Allied Universal policies, and site requirements.

As an Armed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. This driving post requires a valid driver's license and Texas Level III Armed Certification. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $17.25 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 06:00 AM - 02:00 PM
• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
