Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer (Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver) in Hattiesburg, MS. You will perform patrols, monitor access, and provide excellent customer service to employees and visitors, while upholding site policies and safety procedures.

Responsabilidades

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors and vendors while enforcing site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, parking areas and perimeter to deter incidents and report anomalies.
• Monitor access, verify visitor/contractor authorization and maintain incident documentation.
• Respond to incidents, alarms and emergencies in a calm, professional manner and notify appropriate contacts.
• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors and leadership to maintain a welcoming environment.

Job Description

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Hattiesburg, MS, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for employees and visitors. Pay Rate: $12.00 / Hour

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.


• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, access points, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.


• Monitor access to the location, verify visitor and contractor authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate activity and incident documentation.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.


• Communicate professionally with clients, visitors, and Allied Universal leadership while supporting a welcoming and orderly environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.


• A Guard Card or license is preferred.


• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
