As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Coral Gables, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Security Officer at a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and report observations. Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• DayTime Wed 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Thu 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Sun 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and/or the public by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of facilities, grounds, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help identify unusual conditions and help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor and report access control concerns, alarms, equipment irregularities, hazardous conditions, and other security-related incidents in accordance with site procedures.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with site personnel and/or emergency responders as directed.
• Maintain accurate activity logs, incident reports, and required documentation while following Allied Universal and client site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• Supervisory experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
