Job summary

Allied Universal, North America’s leading security and facility services company, is seeking a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver in Miami, FL. This full-time role involves conducting armed patrols, providing exceptional customer service, and maintaining compliance with site procedures while supporting government facilities.

Requirements include a law-enforcement or military training background, armed guard license, a college degree, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Be a graduate of a law enforcement or military police training program or equivalent.
• Have at least one year of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• Possess a college degree.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a corrections officer license.
• Possess a DD214 with an honorable discharge, an associate degree, 60 college credits, a police academy certificate, or a corrections academy certificate.
• Possess a law enforcement officer license.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, and members of the public at government facilities by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document activities according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of government buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious persons, vehicles, packages, or conditions to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required reports, logs, and incident documentation while complying with applicable laws, regulations, and Allied Universal policies.

As a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver Full Time in Miami, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. As an Armed Patrol Officer at a government location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service. • Tue: 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Wed: 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM
• Thur: 08:00 AM - 06:00 PM

What You’ll Do:
