As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a utility location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, monitor access points, and help to deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. This driving position requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy. You will provide exceptional customer service, communicate clearly, and support a caring, agile, reliable, innovative team that acts with integrity.

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access-control protocols, and emergency response activities at a utility location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, promptly notifying appropriate personnel and documenting actions taken.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of utility facilities, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for personnel, visitors, and vehicles in accordance with site-specific requirements.
• Prepare clear and accurate activity, incident, and inspection reports, communicating security-related observations to site leadership and Allied Universal management.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least two years of security-related experience is required.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Guard card is required.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21+ years of age for role.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
