Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer in Alexandria, VA for a full-time unarmed patrol role with digital recordkeeping. You will monitor facilities, control access, and respond to incidents while delivering professional customer service at a food/beverage production site.

Responsibilities include patrolling, credential verification, reporting, and maintaining daily activity logs. Candidates should have HS diploma, pass background checks, and be able to work nights as required.

Qualifications

• Complete accurate daily activity reports and communicate observations and issues through proper channels.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Digital Recordkeeping in Alexandria, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a food and beverage location, you will monitor assigned areas, conduct routine patrols, and remain visible to help deter security-related incidents. You will support access control activities, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Tue 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Wed 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sat 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM
• Sun 09:00 PM - 05:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a food and beverage production location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established site protocols.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the facility, production areas, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location by verifying credentials, documenting visitor and contractor activity, and reporting irregularities to site leadership.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports and communicate observations, incidents, and maintenance concerns through appropriate channels.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver\'s license will be required for driving positions only.
