Qualifications

• Customer service experience preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet preferred.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Guard Card or license preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required by law.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver's license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and families by following security procedures and emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations calmly per school district protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity; report suspicious behavior to staff and leadership.
• Document incidents and complete required reports per site procedures.

As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol CPR Response in Ashburn, VA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as a Patrol Unarmed Officer supporting a public education location. You will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide professional customer service to students, staff, and visitors. Pay Rate: $18.87 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Tue: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Wed: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Thur: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM
• Fri: 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to students, staff, visitors, and families by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, student-related concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established school district protocols.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of school buildings, grounds, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, report suspicious behavior or policy violations, and communicate observations to appropriate school personnel and Allied Universal leadership.
• Assist with maintaining an orderly learning environment by documenting incidents and completing required reports in accordance with site procedures.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• CPR certification is preferred.
• Possession of a Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
