Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol in Whitsett, NC. You will monitor and protect clients in a technology location, maintaining a visible presence and delivering excellent customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors.

• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials, and maintain logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions.
• Support a professional workplace by providing clear directions and communicating observations to leadership.

What You'll Do

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of office areas, common spaces, parking areas, building entrances, and perimeter locations to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and/or policy concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify credentials as directed by site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and reports.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document actions taken.
• Support a professional workplace environment by providing clear directions, maintaining a visible presence, and communicating observations to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
