Allied Universal is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Computer Operations in Carrollton, TX. You will protect clients across Tech/Media/Telecom sectors and support access control, incident response, and customer service.

You’ll perform routine patrols, document observations, use computer systems to log activity, and collaborate with a dynamic team delivering reliable protection and courteous service.

Qualifications

• At least one year of security-related experience.
• Ability to operate a computer or tablet.
• Background checks and drug screen as required by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to employees, contractors, visitors, and vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of the building interior, exterior, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to help identify and report unusual conditions or unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access control points, visitor activity, and entry and exit procedures in accordance with site-specific requirements; report access-related concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Prepare accurate activity logs, incident reports, and shift handoff communications, and maintain professional interactions while representing Allied Universal.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.


• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Customer service experience is preferred.


• A guard card or license is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
