As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, support access control and badge-related activities, and provide outstanding customer service. Pay Rate: $20.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Tue 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Wed 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Thur 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Fri 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or vendors at a technology, media, and telecommunications location while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of buildings, offices, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual conditions or policy concerns.
• Monitor access activity and verify authorized entry in accordance with site procedures, documenting visitor, contractor, and delivery activity as required.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner; communicate observations to site contacts and/or emergency responders as appropriate.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrols, incidents, and security-related activities, and maintain a professional presence that helps to deter unauthorized activity.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least one year of security-related experience.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
