As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Badge Support in Orlando, FL, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Shelter, and more. As an Unarmed Security Officer at a shelter location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and provide professional customer service to guests, staff, and visitors. You will communicate clearly, respond to security-related concerns, and contribute to a welcoming environment. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, residents, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, resident concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of the shelter location, including interior common areas, entry points, exterior grounds, and perimeter, to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access points and visitor activity, assist with maintaining orderly entry and exit procedures, and report unusual or prohibited activity to site leadership and/or emergency responders.
• Document incidents, observations, and patrol activities accurately and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 20 pounds is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
