As an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a busy logistics and distribution location, you will conduct routine patrols, monitor access points, and help deter security-related incidents through a visible presence. This driving post requires a valid driver's license. You will deliver outstanding customer service, communicate professionally with employees and visitors, and support daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and the caring, reliable approach Allied Universal is known for.

Pay Rate: $16.00 / Hour

DayTimeMon02:00 PM - 10:00 PMThur06:00 AM - 02:00 PM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, visitors, and delivery personnel by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and, when appropriate, emergency response activities.


• Conduct regular and random patrols of loading areas, parking areas, entry points, trailer yards, and the perimeter of a logistics and distribution location to help identify and report unusual activity or conditions.


• Monitor access points and verify authorized entry for employees, contractors, vendors, and drivers in accordance with site procedures.


• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, notifying appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as directed.


• Document patrols, incidents, access-related activities, and observations in required reports and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site personnel.

Minimum Requirements:

• At least 6 months of security-related experience is required.


• A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.


• Access control and badge experience is preferred.


• Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.


• A guard card or license is preferred.


• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.


• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.


• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.


• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.


• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.


• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
